The loss for GEO Group in a lawsuit over ICE detention is a victory for accountability that is especially important right now.

Not remotely surprised. GEO's argument that it should be exempt from even being sued just because it was carrying out a government contract was met with extreme skepticism at oral argument. The court ruled that "I was just doing what I was told to do" is a merits defense, not a bar to a lawsuit.
