The film The Incredibles is still lovely and fun.
Watched it with friends last night. There's also a series of shorts that I'd forgotten about.
I'd completely forgotten there was a sequel too! π€ Made me wonder if I've even seen it

Wait for it, now Trump and his dream team are going to twist Ukraine's arms to make it stop destroying Russian oil production and exports and also relieve sanctions to try and undo this global disaster.

Once upon a time he was their βmonster of delusionββ¦
Now weβre back here again and the rightβwing press are on his side.
These papers are a disgrace.
Nuclear-capable jet bombers are *not* cheap to operate: in today's terms, think of it as costing Β£500,000 to move two hours' of video from the UK to AUS within 48 hours.
Back in 1961 we didn't have fibre-optic data cables. So undersea trunking couldn't really carry live video.
I am 61, 2 years younger than the first comsat (Telstar 1). Before Telstar 1, the only way to get video across the Atlantic the day it was recorded involved shipping tapes (or film!) aboard a jet. QE2's coronation was filmed and reels of film made it to Australia within 48 hours aboard RAF bombers.

Starmer's attempt to play both sides has failed. He tried to look tough on Trump, but failed to condemn the illegal attack.
Then he let US bombers pit stop here.
He's dragged us into the war, and still managed to damage our reputation with the USA in the process.

Two scientists walk through a cluttered old-fashioned science laboratory. The female scientist says βAnalogue instruments! Paper records! Chalk boards! Over 1000 civilians dead, and we're letting Trump use UK bases to further his war.
Britain should stand firm against Trump's illegal warmongering, and stop these bombers landing on UK soil.
Iv been following Alex's progress making this over the last few years, Its a real labour of love and such an impressive achievement from basically a solo dev. If you are into basebuilders but also like a story to accompany you then go check it out!

Gas is making energy more expensive again. Get solar panels, battery (even a small one), and ditch your gas supply if you can.
It's not the future it's here right now, trust me, I'm just missing the battery part.
Fossil fuels are the problem.
Energy insecurity. Higher bills. Exposure to catastrophic economic consequences of Trump's wars.
That's what happens when you fail to shift fast enough to renewables, and cut back on support for clean energy.
Let's cut bills & create jobs through a clean power revolution.
