Thankfully our 70s brick unit is fantastic for keeping the inside temperature, and I always forget until I'm in it how much "dry heat" is not just an overblown cliche.

Been a good day for clouds. It usually takes me a few weeks to get 4 I think are worth sharing, but the storm delivered today!

How insulated can we remain from this scapegoating of transgender people? No-one knows what the future holds, but I didn't think "get a hysterectomy in case HRT becomes illegal", or worse, would be on my agenda for planning my retirement.

I've always thought we had a secret little Eden here in Australia. Straddling two horses (China, US,) and keeping our "lucky country" balanced between two steady, albeit tense, paths the horses had been running. WELL, the good times may be over. How insulated can we keep this garden from the chaos?

I'm hindsight I'm not entirely sure why I started replying. (And no pressure to engage.) Perhaps the occasional insight from you summing up all the history made on a daily basis, with prior history to give context, realigns my understanding of where we are now, and what I can plan for.
