At Tell el-Burak (southern Lebanon), #archaeologists uncovered a well-preserved wine press (c.725–350 BCE) where lime was deliberately mixed with crushed ceramics. This early use of recycled materials created a durable, water-resistant plaster, centuries before the Romans made this technique famous.
