Smugglers and rogues, calling some of their credence into question. But Rey didn't care if they were true or not. She was utterly transfixed. Calm under pressure, with a quick wit and a quicker draw, the smuggler Emm'jai described was charming and capable, but most importantly free to do as he pleased and make his own destiny.
The stranger Rey meets in the story tells Rey stories about Han and Leia and you can't help but be reminded of how much Ben is like that "dashing smuggler." 😏

I think the Ben Solo movie has a good chance of happening, or at least them bringing him back in a future project (like the Rey/NJO movie).
The Clone Wars was cancelled twice and brought back twice, so there's precedent for Filoni/Lucasfilm resurrecting projects.

There's also Star Wars: Allegiance by Ethan Sacks. I wasn't as much a fan of his codebreaker comic but he does a real fun job with Rey in Allegiance. And Spark is my fave book, it's very cozy. Have you read Rey's survival guide also?

I'd also recommend some of the Star Wars Adventures Comics. They're multiera, but there's a few issues dedicated to Rey if you haven't read them yet. Also the Forces of Destiny comics / minisodes are good for Rey & Rose!

Always amuses me that Star Wars nerds took issue with any suspension of disbelief in the sequel trilogy, yet in Empire Strikes Back, Luke literally crash lands on a planet, but then pretty much immediately finds the dude he was looking for. What are the odds!
