Remember this when Donald Trump tells you we canโ€™t afford health care.

I dunno, man. If male-female is only superficially about reproductive plumbing - chromosomes, bio stuff - and really about cosmic depths, why would you want to insist peoples' driver's licenses must reflect assigned-at-birth biological sex rather than registering their deep, cosmic gender?

gavin newsom is a very useful weathervane because he believes in nothing save the fact that he should be president

that he's making these noises about israel support should tell you how incredibly over it is for israel within the democratic party going forward

[We see a close up of a young white male, tanned, white teeth, coiffed hair clearly an influencer on social media. It is an image such as you see when social media posts are shown on the news. In the corner of the screen is named a location: DUBAI. He is staring slightly off-camera for several silent panels of the comic strip. His eyes move slightly. He is having a thought.]

From off-screen a newsreaderโ€™s commentary comes:

NEWSREADER:

Extraordinary images here

of an expat in Dubai

[The influencerโ€™s eybrows raise slightly]

โ€ฆHaving their first ever geopolitical thought.

[CUT TO a BBC news scene. The BBC newsreader CLIVE MYRIE is talking to an interviewee next to the screen showing the social media influencerโ€™s face. The intervieweeโ€™s name is David Jones].

CLIVE MYRIE:

To explain the significance of this moment weโ€™re joined by David Jones, our Expat Thoughts correspondent

DAVID JONES:

Clive, this is momentous

It was caught on film at the end of an Instagram post titled: โ€˜Dubai Is Brilliantโ€™.

[Pointing at the screen, the influencerโ€™s expression still the same]

You can clearly see in the eyebrows here, the dawning realisation that there *might* be something in the world beyond his dickhead self.

It marks a *huge* departure from all the Dubai Expatโ€™s previous thoughts.

CLIVE MYRIE:

Which areโ€ฆ?

DAVID JONES:

You've Got To Get Yourself Out Here Mate, Everything Is So Clean, I Don't Have To Pay Taxes,
I Am Incurious As To Why I Do Not Have To Pay Taxes, and Spa.

CLIVE MYRIE:

And might we see an expansion of these new Thoughts in coming days?

DAVID JONES:

I think we can expect to see:

โ€œI Deserve To Be Airlifted By A Country I Pay No Tax Toโ€

CLIVE MYRIE:

Mmm.

[Ends]

05.03.2026 06:30 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

What what? I assume that you're mad about people having to pay money to make mods? I mean, the alternative is that you're mad that people are selling the results of their labor for money, which would be a deranged thing to be mad about.

Cool! I suggest enjoying the awesome free labor that other people put in and not caring about unrelated people who want to be paid for their time.

You'd rather have fewer and worse mods than have someone _other_ than you voluntarily pay for some?

I didnโ€™t know Microslop was a thing until I saw headlines about Microsoft trying to ban Microslop on its Discord. Now I shall say Microslop a lot. Thatโ€™s how it works.

Itโ€™s good when Microsoft, a company that likes genocide and environmental destruction, doesnโ€™t like things.
