I have no idea if the Kings got better or worse. I will say that they got “different”. Maybe different is what they need to be successful?

Reports are Ken Holland will be named new General Manager of the LA Kings Hockey Club as early as Tuesday.

Ken Holland was GM for the Detroit Red Wings from 1997-2019 and the Edmonton Oilers from 2019-2024.

The fate of Jim Hiller and other coaches will be in Holland’s hands.

The new Pope didn't tweet once in 2024. In 2025, he's posted 5 times, in which he:

- Criticized JD Vance's views on Catholicism and Jesus
- Posted an article opposing Trump's immigration policies
- Retweeted twice about the Pope's health
- Retweeted a criticism of Trump & Bukele's laughter at KAG.

Sounds like some discussion happened over the weekend.

It remains to be seen if the firings are done or not.

You are absolutely correct but, if the air in your tire is leaking do you add air? Or do you fix the tire? Or replace?

This is for sure Hiller’s fault, but does the guy who hired him have any blame? How about the guy that hired the guy that hired the guy?

That is where the discussion should be IMO

I think you have to give credit to Edmonton. They played a good game and shut down the Kings scorers.

This is what happens when you let the punk kid hang around too long. Eventually they gain confidence and surprise you with a jab to the nose.

However this ends up, Hiller and his crew needs to go

The other part that isn’t working is having some guys play 35 minutes, and others play 2 minutes.

Shortening the benches late in games is a tactic that usually works. But shortening benches from the start of the game??

If the Kings lose this series, every coach needs to be fired

It is either a coach telling the players to change what had worked for two periods to a defense only posture, or it’s the coaches that aren’t stopping the players from doing it on their own.

Either way, coaches are there to dictate tactics. THIS TACTIC ISN’T WORKING!!! STOPPPPP

They played about as good as they could for the first two periods of all four games. Then they sit back, play defense only, and wait for the Oilers to catch up.

This is in my opinion bad coaching. This hasn’t worked for the last three years, it’s not going to work this year either.

First of all, I am nobody special.

I’m just a guy that has been a Hockey and Kings fan since I was 11 years old in 1980. So ignore or don’t, makes no difference to me.

The Kings should have already swept the series.
