I love how you think Republicans are more charming for “wearing their hearts on their sleeves” when they are planning a fun resort on the graves of millions.

I have no problem with the implication but this was a discussion about Americans and our poor decision of choosing this administration based on *one issue* and you have tried to turn it into something else.

Oh and what’s worse is snatching people off American streets and disappearing them on top of the status quo.

I don’t understand your point. This discussion was around how things now aren’t any better than they were. There was an expectation from American Palestinians that things would be better or at least not worse but yet here we are.

Totally agree. Because we apparently decided that a Harris administration would be just as bad as a Biden one, what has been the Trump administration’s response to all of this?

Congress can be as involved as they want to be but choose not to.

He was not larger elected due to inflation. He was elected largely due to xenophobia and racism.

Please explain why Dems even went. I think the strategy should be to distract from him in big ways. Last night, Dems could have gone to those republican districts where their reps won’t meet with them. They could have planned a mass protest on the other side of the city that responded to his speech.

I am frustrated. Dems would have done better to skip the address entirely and schedule town halls in vulnerable Republican districts where the representatives and senators refuse to meet. Other Dems could have organized a protest in another part of the city during the
speech. Why is this so hard?

I sincerely hope that the Dem plan for the State of the Union address isn’t going to be “sit on your hands and when they go low…” Honestly I hope they don’t attend at all.

I don’t believe that you can ever trust people like that. They will turn to whatever is expedient for them at any moment. We should focus on people who didn’t vote at all.
