I get this. My friend described him as having the feel of an AI generated politician. People go for easy politicians who offer answers to problems they canβt address because theyβre not in a position to do so. This is his difficulty and one that bedevils all green politicians. Treat with caution.

Well, we were toying with the idea of an interrail pass in the summer so could end up doing exactly that. Weβre now heading towards Waterloo after a short spell at what felt like walking pace. Darkness has fallen.

It is more or less impossible to overstate how unreliable the train service is in this country. Iβm currently 90 minutes into a 60 minute journey and weβre stuck at another red signal around 30 minutes or so away from the destination. It is the third similar journey in a week.

Such a curious band. Felt like a breath of fresh air at the start yet when I last saw them live, there was the unmistakable impression that The Smiths comprised four people who hated the sight of each other in different ways. The toxicity of the onstage chemistry was crisply felt in the auditoria.

Even with fair wind, Starmer should be in trouble with Gorton and may election results, so a managed departure in the summer is an option. It could all be derailed by further Epstein information or revelations from the Mandleson files. Now down to events. He stymied Burnham, so no obvious heir.

Even with a fair wind, Starmer may well be in trouble with Gorton and the May election results so a managed departure in the summer has to be a likely option. It could easily be derailed by further Epstein information or revelations from the Mandleson files. Other than that, it is down to events...

In which case the corrosive impact on Starmerβs reputation is irreversible and this will accelerate his departure. Who will want to be the fallback candidate for a multi party electoral scrap where Labour could finish outside the three? Lose this and then we have the local elections. Summer follows.

Agree with this analysis. A short sighted decision that reeks of the insecurity that comes with being embattled despite the relative closeness of the electoral victory and an insurmountable parliamentary majority. Starmer mysteriously lacks a Party base. What chance the decision being overturned?

Short sighted decision from a Labour Party hierarchy that now seems intent on combining cowardice with a death wish. Will cause intellectual splits, could trigger resignations or even defections and will gift northern seats to others. Next election will be decided in the north. So stupid.

It is a really great book. Tells his story with an incredible honesty making it difficult to take in at some points. His writing voice has a genuinely moving authenticity. I love the jacket bio that says this is his first book and he does not intend to write another. Understandable and regrettable.

No disagreement on this.
The amazing thing is the need to even say it. The whiff of corruption or of a head turned to address priorities beyond parliament is too strong to ignore.

Why would someone get up early at around 7am on a bleak Tuesday in January, head off to their local swimming pool and then stand waist high in 1m of water near the edge of the pool for nearly 30 minutes? I'm just curious about what motivates people. Nothing to do with having to navigate an obstacle.

Dexys Midnight Runners - Knowledge Of Beauty
βKnowledge of Beauty.β The second film by Jack Hazan shot in County Mayo in the West of Ireland using 35mm film which Jack said made the scenery look more lush than normal. About the 3 films Jack said, βI listened to what Kevin had to say and tried to interpret what he wanted. I didnβt betray him.β

We just lacked any threat and after Keane hit post with a header after say 25 minutes, we didnβt have a single serious attempt on target. It was desperately poor attacking performance. Armstrong showed up well on feed I had and red cards will be put down to frustration- not an acceptable excuse.

Nephew, 23, lives and works in Munich, studied across EU, raised in Italy and Senegal. I just explained to him what a food bank is and why we were donating. He'd never encountered anything like it. Not exactly sure what this says about him but it certainly says something about inequality in UK.
