I think one of the best things about LLM popularity right now, is gaining familiarity with neural network training We are more aware of who's doing it and with what. In a way, each of us is training our own neural network in our brain everyday. What are you training your neural network with?

I feel like one of those native people from stories, staring out at that blob on the horizon slowly getting bigger each day, wondering what is about to land on our shore.

I think one possible side effect of the AI boom could be a proliferation of entrepreneurship. I can see a future where it lowers the barrier to entry by providing business coaching, personal development, personal assistance, and the advice of a cadre of knowledgeable experts at your fingertips.

I think that soon, LLMs will be able to translate apps directly between different platforms like iOS, Android, PC, etc. It will be trivially easy for most apps to run on multiple platforms.
