My work got me some swag! I am SO proud to have the privilege to represent the HOST program! Compassionate care for vulnerable populations without judgement is ESSENTIAL to social justice!

I ALWAYS tell my clients "Insight into our own life conditions allows us the ability to make choices. We have a better understanding of the interaction between our own internal processes and societal behavioral requirements. It's not fair. But it's a game we all must play."

I'm going to tell you this with a caveat:

There is no shame in past life events. I do not believe in judgement. I respect analysis and self awareness.

This month my student loans, which were supposed to be forgiven twice, now are due.

I wish beyond every wish that I could somehow take on every pain of every person just struggling to survive... Do what you want to me. I am just one person... Spare the vulnerable. Spare the innocent.

I met some very nice ladies today at the dog park. Both were living in their vehicles with their canine life partners.

We had just the best conversation. These women were wonderful, friendly, and positive despite life circumstances.

There is still beauty in this world.

My old dog, Delta, enjoys fireworks and always has despite the noise. When he was a puppy we would light fireworks off in the park near my home for the 4th. Everyone had so much fun! Delta has always appreciated people having a good time. He's associated fireworks with human happiness.
