Been tweaking Jund Hollow One and it’s been a blast!

It’s reasonable to be greedy with the mana base, since you are always looting and fetching for lands. Having the Stomping Grounds allows access to more flexibility in the sideboard.

Deck #36: From The Heavens

Dragonite has been around, but there are new options as of late.

Manaphy coupled with Dawn can force fast Draco Meteor, especially with consistency with PokeComm.

Fan Rotom can remove a target, making Draco Meteor more consistent!

Deck #35: Ape Escape

Pesky Leafeon / Irida or Dialga decks pissing you off?

One-shot them with Flare Blitz!

Infernape EX has no retreat cost and can hide behind Weezing until you Koga it away, nuke, and reset. Usually only needs 2 attacks to win!

Deck #34: Nurture Nature

With only 3 basics and 4 evolutions, Pokemon Communication is essential.

Having multiple possible options for passive abilities on your Eeveelutions gives the deck several lines.

Just play to your opponent’s weaknesses.

Deck #33: BONK!

Sudowoodo is the new Farfetch’d (go Team Venture!) and shreds the hyper-aggressive all-EX decks. Lucario lets Sudowoodo and Aerodactyl punch VERY hard.

Brewing with A2 is more complicated, but lots of fun options.

Try loading up your Yanmega with Dialga early and launching for 120-130!

Or just let Melmetal do his thing if you have the draw.

Deck #31 - Primeval Leeks

I’m so happy. My favorite Pokemon is very viable again with Leek Slap doing 40 on turn one (50 with Giovanni) and it beats a lot of things.

Hitmonlee is Magikarp insurance, Marshadow is aggro insurance, the deck is very cohesive.

Enact PRIMEVAL LAW!

Top 500 now I guess lol

Not competing in Smash currently (hand injury), so I’ve spent two weeks getting back into the MTG grind.

Esper Aggro feels insane. Hopeless Nightmare is a card I would have personally designed.

My list has some tech in it, all of which has performed very well. Back into Top 1500 again! 💪

Deck #30 - BOYFRIEND

Use the Chatot mimic to dump a bunch of random cards to improve the statistics of always having Nidoqueen and Nidoking.

Nidoqueen does all the work staying at home with the kids while Nidoking goes out and parties.

Deck #29 - Vermilion City Gym

Most decks now need to have a plan that either withstands a 140 damage attack or can deal 140+ in one attack.

This goes the 2nd route.

Get damage early with Pikachu EX and Electrode and be ready to load up Raichu in a pinch. ⚡️

Deck #28 - Forest Spirits

If I had to play a tournament tomorrow, this is the deck I would run.

The optimal way to play Celebi IMO, Chatot 1x and a toolbox of options to get to Celebi + Serperior the most consistent & quick way possible.

S tier deck easily.

- STEEP if you liked Amped or just open worlders with stuff to do.

- Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch because it’s godlike.

Deck #27 - Smokestack

Only using Dark energy, the goal is to get Weezing online with a Hypno so that opponents need to battle through Smokescreen + sleep while Greninja chips away.

Limited deck space makes this one tricky to use but it’s nasty when it works.

Give yourself some interesting tech in your 🍃 deck!

Victreebel can trap weak Pokemon into having no escape, and Pokemon Flute can combo to get a bonus point!

Also multiple Exeggutor lines, both aggro and countering big energy decks!
