Cabbage is good as well as cheap. I haven’t bought a turnip in a while but I don’t remember them being that cheap. Aren’t potatoes and carrots cheaper?

I've been thinking about this poem by Langston Hughes recently and although it was published in 1931, it remains relevant as ever.
