Sue has resorted to capital letters: WHY am I getting ALL THESE SPAM EMAILS? Asks by Reply All.

Remembers her manners, though: signs off β€˜All best regards, Sue’

Emma asks: why am I getting all these replies? (Asking by Reply All). Cue a flurry of Replies

And it’s even about car parking permits! Joyful. Now people are posting by Reply All with details of their cars and how many parking vouchers they have left. Getting quite shirty

Wahey! We have a β€˜Reply All’ vortex going here at the University of Nottingham. It’s at the early Replying to All to demand being removed from the Reply All, which generates lots of Reply Alls in agreement. Off we go…

Researchfish is dead. Good. A private parasite with all the wrong principles about intellectual value, knowledge as metrics and poor design.

It was a bloody stupid name as well.

Yes, though one of these is 50. Barely room to get the title on the spine. I’m not against these as fat articles, but they don’t have the elaborative space to count as a book, I think

Looking forward to reading these Cambridge Elements, though I’m still not sure about their slight-ness. <30K words seems flimsy for a β€˜book’

Discovered only 30 years ago, this is Aristotle’s Lyceum - now only rocky remains, rosemary bushes and lots of resident cats, it is nevertheless one of the most important sites of human history and civilisation. Might try my next seminar walking around after a bit of wrestling

I ordered this a few weeks ago, so that I could keep up with one of my brilliant doctoral researchers who is working on Medbh McGuckian’s poetry. It had to come from the publisher in Ireland. Delighted to discover it is signed
