i don’t blame you!!! it seriously is the bare minimum to ensure you’re spelling the person you’re addressing name correctly!!! idk why some people are so lax abt it

i do the same! but this was a document he sent out putting us in groups in which my name is spelled incorrectly 🫠 so my email to him was the correct spelling and asking if he can fix it, so my classmates aren’t pronouncing and spelling my name wrong 😭😭😭

& honestly atp my patience is kinda thin bc this is the 4th professor to spell my name wrong when it’s right in front of them. it’s careless.

& it’s really irritating how many people will treat misspelling someone’s name like it’s a minor mistake. it’s not. it’s not a word. that is someone’s identity. it doesn’t take long to double check if you’ve spelled someone’s name correctly.

my residency professor spelled my name wrong on the group list he made, so i emailed him and have yet to receive a response…..i’m gonna follow up bc that’s literally my name you spelled wrong.
