Rejoice, Lady given to us by the Lord, Virgin, Mother of God, and ever-present guardian of my soul, together with the glorified Cross of your Son and the unyielding wall, the downfall of both visible and invisible enemies.

Rejoice, Theotokos, wholly blessed Virgin, for Christ took the fallen nature of humanity upon Himself, and made it worthy to be venerated by all flesh.
