24.11.2025 23:29 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The open secret that Thomas King is not Indigenous at all is finally verified, and honestly it's a relief. Having him just confess this instead of going out kicking and screaming like so many before him causes a LOT less harm to Indigenous communities.
It still sucks though.
Happening this weekend in Ottawa. I have four originals for sale (in-person only.)
All limited edition prints are currently discounted 15% this week on christibelcourt.ca.
Everyone who purchases a print will be entered into the draw to win a Mini Tipi Blanket & Ela Handbag Pouch on Dec. 15.
Educators, if you're using one of my books in school this year, I hope you'll check out this page full of discussion guides, resources, and activities for many of my books! ππ« buff.ly/U1pCJyr #mglit

I'm editing an anthology about unlikable characters and seeking work from younger writers, 15-21. If you know of one such writer who might want to submit their work for consideration, please share this call for submissions: audacity.substack.com/p/acquired-t...
