I am also both and it annoys me when one side throws the other under the bus. People really want to see things in binaries, good and bad, black and white, us and them, pigeon holes for convenience, but that's just not the way things are.

I only post here once in a while and usually its something kinda random, so truthfully i'm really surprised I have 6k followers here. Thats like millions. Even having one follower is amazing, like the idea that that someone cares enough to wanna see what i'm up to will forever blow my mind.

I just noticed I passed the 6k followers here and wanted to say thanks for all the support folk give me. I'll always be grateful for folk who interact with me and my art/stories. I'm glad my comics are able to connect with people and I hope to be drawing and sharing my stuff forever.

Coming from a furry this is probably jarring, but we're all human. There is so much fighting due to our differences but ultimately we're all bits of organic matter stuck to a rock in space. Imagine what we could do if we stopped using energy hating one another and supported one another instead.

I dunno, maybe you just need to advertise your work more and in different places. I guess it depends on what your heart wants to do, What's making you want to compromise, when you say it's not working, what is it you're trying to achieve?

Not saying its not trickier, but its certainly not impossible. Don't give up 'kay. Not fitting into a box is good, and I'd say write what you want and it'll attract the right kind of folk

I made @gemsdaddy.bsky.social a card. We learnt the word 'hinched' recently (It means, something so clean you can eat your dinner off of it) Daddy refers to his ass as hinched all the time now. Its pretty much become his catchphrase. He got me the other card. This is what our love looks like.

I spend most of my waking hours making content for this community that I have very little time to actually spend in it, so I often feel quite distant to folk. Could you create a discord or telegram channel so people can connect with you more as an idea?

If this is your only outlet and you're not getting meaningful interactions I can see how that would lead to feeling unfulfilled, and when people just ask you to do more work than get to know you or interact with you in other ways I can relate to that feeling a bit soul destroying.

Out of curiosity, how do you think that could change? What makes you feel like you don't belong? Was there a point that you felt you DID belong and what's shifted since then?

A step at a time right. It may seem daunting starting a project that's big but also imagine what it'll feel like looking back on it once it's done and saying 'Hey I did that!" and if you start now then you'll be finished sooner :D

That sounds like a tricky place to be in. I often think that Uncertainty can also be spelled Exploration. It's not about wrong or right, it's more about just being in the now and being who you are right this moment without judgement
