lol i definitely have his twin brother outside my window every morning

sometimes i wonder if that might be easier, b/c there’s nothing lost to lament, tho i suppose that’s literally impossible to ever know for sure

still have no idea why someone was blasting it, so it was really weird & i thought maybe it was a dream when I woke up this morning. But then I looked at my blue sky search and noticed that I had searched for keywords that showed that I did look up whether or not he had gone to hell for real.

i woke up at 3am to someone blasting an aria or requiem somewhere in the neighborhood & my first thought was that that thing we are all wishing for had happened and that the m a g a guy on our block was blasting it, lol

my mom helped a lot today w/the moving. When we got home, she collapsed on her chaise & was like, “oh no! it’s almost time to feed the cats & toby!”
then i told her that they won’t expect food until 6pm today, & she was all “I forgot about the time change! Yay! That is the best news ever!”

Still have to study for my quiz but it’s super nice out AND they opened the road to where my study shelter is located! Root beer and sunshine in perfect outdoor silence again!

Got the u-haul, filled it with half the storage unit stuff, drove to new storage unit and unloaded it. Took a lot less time than i expected, and holy cats i’m going to be sore tomorrow, but so relieved to be half done.

so the capacitor in the AC has died. ordered the new one & will be installing on Monday (I know how to do this without dying, don’t worry)

while it’s not hot out, it’s not chilly, so i’ve never been so happy to have the weird Pella roll-down locking screens built into the windows

got the moving truck scheduled for pick-up tomorrow morning to move stuff to the new storage unit. looking forward to getting a big chunk of this done, tho def _not_ looking forward to the “doing” of it.

and the lettuce starts were only 50 cents each with my rewards points, so we each got 6 starts.

we decided to just go ahead and give her her own section of the lettuce cage this year, lol. she has to wait until we break it off and set it out, but it’s designated for her b/c we love her

first time in a year or so that i felt the pressure in my head that starts making it pound actually go from 0 to “oh dang!” in like 2 minutes up on Walmart Hill

when i set up the lettuce cage yesterday, & planted the lettuce, i accidentally loudly clonked the shed she hibernates under & was like “oh god sorry sorry!” then i planted buttercrunch lettuce in the cage (her favorite) & thought “hmmm, i bet she’ll be out this weekend, w/all that + warm weather”

SO happy! she looks a bit like a deflated balloon after hibernation, lol, but knew my voice when i walked up b/c she just looked at me for a bit like “yo what’s up?”
i was about 6’ away from her
