Signalis - Regretfully this game was not for me. The vibes, first person sequences, and worldbuilding were fantastic and if the game was solely those aspects I would've been sold. Unfortunately, I did not mesh with the core gameplay and the main story lost me twofold, through its details and outcome

a little too RUSHED* though rusted is a good word I'll consider using once I find the right context to apply it to

Alien: Earth - The movies always felt like they'd rush through the events of "here's a crew, here's the discovery, here's the spiral into chaos." With a proper show, the pacing feels far more comfortable. More variety of alien life + a focus on synth backgrounds leaves me hopeful for a second season

Alien: Romulus - A weirdly small crew this time around, with only a couple developed characters. Those characters were memorable, however, and this movie did a good job stitching the overall series together.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny - Better than Crystal Skull, which is a very low bar. Would've said this was a decent movie but that ending was a little too rusted. With an extra 15 minutes it could've been something, but instead I'd sooner recommend watching a Great Circle playthrough.

So if the sound of that leaves your mouth tasting of tar, here's what you want to do: In the url bar, type in about:config It'll give you a big scary warning page that you might poke holes in your browser. Good. You want to do that. Click continue. One by one, you're going to need to put each of these into the search bar in the page, not up top: browser.ml.enable browser.ml.chat.enabled extensions.ml.enabled browser.ml.linkPreview.enabled browser.tabs.groups.smart.enabled browser.tabs.groups.smart.userEnabled Each of these are gonna have a lil toggle icon on the right hand side that looks like a funky double-ended arrow. Click that and the value next to it should change to false. It all auto saves as you go. Some of these might already be set to false by default and that's peachy. The next best thing you can do for yourself is to set your default search engine to udm14 or Qwant, but for now, we're just tidying the garden a lil bit.

Free pulls have been kind to me as I Silksong'd away from the socials. Mabayu's cool, Moemura's value suddenly dawned on me these last couple days, Alina's a great addition and Sayaka, well, I'm just glad I got her.

It was surprising that Sinner's worked the way it did compared to everything else. Wonder how things went with the testers that that's the encounter they made a concession for

Wanna say I recall hearing they added benches after the initial release? So no doubt we'll see a couple additions similarly. Only played HK after all the dlc dropped though, so I don't know for sure how that went down. Maybe they were added via patches before the dlc even?

Got the impression from chat reactions to Judge that people already expect every game to have Marika statues or <5 second runbacks, and a lot of hate for runbacks bleeding into hate for the boss. (I do like Marika statues, but I imagine games would ideally have that in mind from the planning stage)

As I watch a skong playthrough I'm realizing people's patience ended with Elden Ring, for better and worse

Silksong cleared with 96% at a timeframe greater than 50 hours, to keep it somewhat vague. Got a % immediately afterward. Will the last 3% be a nightmare to find? Not ready to assume that just yet, but bracing for it

Very excited to see this movement in the hands of the pros, though gonna wait till I wrap up everything because I like binging the various categories for comparison's sake
