Well, this happened. Thank you to @penamerica.bsky.social for this incredible honor in NYC last night and thank you to all the people who supported this book along the way. I still can’t believe it’s real. It’s a stunning thing and it was an amazing night in the presence of so many great writers.

I’m not sure what this says about me, but I was pitching BP tonight to my 15u baseball team and I made this discovery in my bucket of baseballs. 🙄📚⚾️
