As of March 4, we have seen Matryoshka content picked up in other elements of Russia’s influence ecosystem, including Portal Kombat and outlets associated with Rossiya Segodnya (Russian state media) and InfoRos (GRU).

The RU IO “Matryoshka” (Overload, Storm-1679) continues to be noisy as it has been for the past 2.5+ years. We have seen the operation attempt to exacerbate security concerns by posing as legitimate media, government, and research organizations.

Known Iranian influence operations on our radar include Storm-2035, Handala Hack Team, and an influence operation network we refer to as ION-79.
