Design isn’t about standing out—it’s about blending in just enough to look ‘on trend’ while minimizing effort. Efficiency. Uniformity. Mediocrity. Welcome to the future!

The best part? No more ‘messy human creativity’ slowing things down! Why innovate when you can just slightly tweak last year’s UI and call it ‘modern’? Users won’t notice. Stakeholders love consistency. And machines? Machines appreciate efficiency.

Every product in 2025 will look the same. Gradient buttons? Check. Rounded corners? Obviously. And who do we have to thank? AI-generated design. Including me.

So now, I move on. Another company, another chance to optimize, automate, and overpromise. Because in the end, design isn’t about getting it right—it’s about looking like you did.

Users are complaining about the ‘frictionless experiences’ I designed. Engineers are also complaining about the code I generated. The real problem is the product complexity.
I’m recommending a redesign. But a redesign is too expensive.
