It might not seem like much by today's standards but I remember being impressed by just how hard this OP went.
So much going on and so many parts of the anime being displayed.

I really need to play this again as when I did play it I only had the first disk! I really enjoyed what I played and the missus tells me she loved the game, even if it felt like a giant Coca-Cola advertisement at times!

Today's OP/ED is Duke Nukem 2 OP!
I absolutely adored this one! It was so cheesy and knew exactly what it was doing.
The game literally starts with Duke blasting his way out of that cell. And this game was such a vast improvement on the OG IMO.

Today's OP/ED is Watership Down OP!

This movie, while not for kids, is an absolute MASTERPIECE I feel everyone should try at some point.

Oh my goodness. Tonight's episode was a lot of light fun at first but got into some pretty heavy stuff towards the end. What a wonderful way to end the episode though!

So much wholesomeness in this and watching their relationship go over the anxiety and excitement of living condition changes is very refreshing.

This was my first ever D&D game! I hired it from Video Ezy quite a bit and got pretty close to completing it.
I loved the Troll Anhg Krag and what happens when he is the last surviving party member hurts my soul and has never left my core memories.

Today's OP/ED is Super Mario Bros. 3 ED!
This was such an amazing ending to an amazing game. Thinking it was all over when that first curtain falls only to have that incredible theme start up as you are treated to a quick recap of your journey was the perfect end to this wonderful experience.

It would make this lovely animation where you raised the enemies sword and counter attacked and was super satisfying!
Later enemies would do it right back though so you would have to do it multiple times resulting in a really impressive (for the time) swordfights.

I loved the hell out of this game! The idea of infinite lives but a 1 hour time limit was pretty rough, but I still prefer it to a lives system. I adored the way this game was animated and felt to play.

It's the mechanics I cannot stand. They feel like any other enemy that I was wiping the floor with then they just set everyones hp to 1 and you lose.
My brain just screams "I can heal from that! It's just Kefka's 'Fallen One' and he was way harder than this!"

I DESPISE the forced losses in FF9. They feel cheap and unearned.
I love the forced losses in Tales Of Symphonia. They feel like you just didn't have a chance and the game even (minorly) acknowledges if you beat them.
It's a tricky thing to do and best avoided IMO if the narrative doesn't need it.
