We’ll visit the site of Paul’s shipwreck where he is still honoured, his Roman prison and his burial place. Along the way we’ll gain deeper insights into Paul the man and missionary, as well as a greater appreciation of the backdrop for his letters that have shaped the church for two millennia.

This conference will explore various ways in which Paul employs theology in order to shape his readers for a distinctive and enriched way of life in Christ.
It will feature keynote speakers Professor Joshua Jipp (TEDS) and Dr Katherine Hurrell (SCD).
But as Paul’s pastoral heart for his young churches is explored with reference to ancient philosophy and modern positive psychology, it becomes clear that the apostle conveys a grand vision for the good life—that is, human flourishing in Christ.
