“Le violoncelle sous la pluie” (The cello in the rain), Paris. Photo: Robert Doisneau (1957).
In an artistic collaboration between French photographer Robert Doisneau and cellist Maurice Baquet, the musician holds his umbrella, not over himself, but over his beloved instrument. This devotion to art is amplified by the soaked painter in the background, still humorously standing at his easel undeterred by the pouring rain.

Doisneau's celebrated cello in the rain is reimagined as a classical, levitating, sheet-draped ghost.

There’s a handy rhyme to help you remember whether the clocks are going back or forwards an hour tonight.
It goes:-

"French Jewel Heist" is one of those things so fitting that it's cliche yet rare enough to give you the joy of the unexpected. Like a dog actually named Fido, or someone actually cooling a pie on a windowsill. We deserve that kind of reprieve.
