If AI is so fantastic, why do so many companies program their chatbots to not admit they’re chatbots? Why are they trying to deceive you into believing they’re human? Why not just be honest and brag that you’re using AI?

If the internet is like AI, why have I never met a single human on the planet who has been hired to hide that a company uses internet?

If AI is like the Internet, why can’t I find an internet detector online so I can determine whether a business uses the Internet?

And what business do you know that hires an entire team to help them hide their Internet usage?

The difference between the Internet and AI is businesses put their Internet addresses on their business cards but they hire entire teams to task them with editing AI outputs so that it passes as human and nobody knows they used AI.

Why hide that you use AI in the first place? Isn’t it the goal? Aren’t we all going to fall behind if we don’t? I don’t recall businesses trying to hide that they have a website when the internet came out.

How are you going to detect and filter AI when the market is flooded with businesses, let alone people, whose entire goal for years has been to edit AI to pass as human?

It is cute that people want an AI filter.

First, it’s not a binary thing. There is no “AI or not AI”

But also—have you not worked a creative gig since 2022? EVERY AGENCY on the planet is inundated with clients who want them to edit an AI output so it passes as human. It’s been that way for years.

If they’re asking you to help them cheat and pass an unofficial AI test that isn’t even required by law—what else do they cheat at? What other corners do they cut?
