On another thought, the whole “payment processors are force-censoring everything”, in a way this pushes people to pirate some of these censored games (unless the devs have already found a new way to distribute their games). Clanker or tin can are low hanging fruits so I thought of other stuff, like Doll, specifically for female robots and Bucket-head for male robots. There are also specific words for robots of foreign manufacture but those are still under development on my part.

Elderich entities/demons are not part of the setting as it is an historical fiction. Although I was planning to write a possible deity specifically for the robots to worship, involving clogs and metal.

The Junkyard (district where robots live) does host some indipendent cinema nights with movies made by robots for robots, although rarely as the shipment of recreational goods is often deliberately halted by humans. If some of that stuff comes through, it’s incredibly expensive.
