X4 is all about Zero. It was a crazy breath of fresh air to get a whole new play style for a megaman game at the time.

30th anniversary of this awesome game. I had just gotten into jrpgs in 95 so this hit with perfect timing. All these were from my childhood collection. Used to have the box til my dad threw it out in 97.

Anyway this game rules. Timed attacks was such an awesome way to make battles fun.

Look it’s still in the good set. Everything after X4 is downhill. It’s also Minakuchi engineering on this one too instead of the mostly capcom crew. Not being the best, doesn’t mean it’s not great.
