Curious. I want to hear from some folks with colorblindness.

I'm working on multiple game dev projects and I want to know, what exactly do colorblind shaders do to assist you in video games? What do you look for, whats a good/bad implementation of it?

I'd love to hear some opinions on this

You should be able to run this fine under Linux with proton, but as a Linux user I want to make a port available as soon as possible.

I don't really complain bc I can just convert it on a case by case basis. but the tools I had to use every day for smash remix almost never supported webp (CSP, Maya, GoldenEye Editor)

not every software in someone's preferred tools will support webp and that can get frustrating

I mean if you work with legacy software heavily, pirated or not webp gets annoying

switching to linux is actually a lot easier than you think*

*assuming you don't rely on any weird hardware, don't play any recent multiplayer focused games, and use programs with heavy handed drm

I'm more than qualified as a programmer but about 100+ job applications later I've only had about 3
interviews (including 1 with an AI chatbot)

id say at least keep the partition (or partitions) around for the sake of messing around with Linux if you're still even a bit interested

usually I find whatever people are shitty like that I take solace knowing they're probably have some deep insecurities that result in them projecting on whoever they view as more vulnerable than them. I choose to not give them that satisfaction, one way or another

it is but also 90% of employers near me discriminate against that sorta thing. so I usually just refuse to disclose either or

usually my go-to is just acting as myself and people who have problems with it can keep it to themselves.

I don't know if I have autism or ADHD (I could have both) but it's one of the two. alot of family and teachers would ask, but I never was professionally diagnosed

I haven't sought after a diagnosis because of the fear of professional discrimination, especially considering I already get discriminated against by neurotypicals who suspect I have it anyway 🙃
