I was at Dunks yesterday and the baristas included me in their tea. Apparently, earlier in the day, a customer got pissy because they got a coffee with cream and sugar. They said it was supposed to be black. The customer ordered a “hot regular”. Obviously they’re not from around here…

Since Wednesday night, my fire alarm will randomly scream. It’s very loud and very jarring. I let my leasing company know. Someone will be here on Monday to replace it as this is the second time that this has happened. I’m so tired because it goes off while I’m sleeping

Went grocery shopping. All I wanted to go was get back to my apartment to listen to more of Heavenly Tyrant. I’m like 2 hours into the audiobook. I’m enjoying it!

Am I a fangirl? Yes. Am I actively part of any fandoms? No. Fandoms scare me. I like finding posts in said fan spaces and carving out a little space for myself to enjoy the media and not deal with most fans. Anyone else like this? I’ve been this way since like 2018 and I’m happier for it

Nah, it makes me sleepy. But that’s probably more because I’m under blankets because I’m cold

My youngest cat, Diana, I got as a kitten in 2022 when I was remote. She’s never known me to be gone so much. This has been an adjustment for her. I carve out 15 minutes every morning for us to cuddle. It seems to help. But sometimes she still meows for me as I leave :(

Am I in pain because I’m in a flare? Because I’m on my period? Or because of the weather? I’m not sure but I’m thinking it’s a combination of them all

I find it exhausting for sure. But I willingly went into this job knowing it would be in person. I’m
juggling chronic illness with starting a new career. I’m not sure I could do this in a large corporate setting. And I’ll eventually be hybrid. Which was another plus for me

After 2.5 years of being remote (with 6 weeks of being laid off) I am back in the office. I’m loving it. I’m not loving the hours but it’s nice to decorate my cubey and see people every day. And I love dressing up for work! I’m finally putting all these business casual clothes to use!
