Dear Mayor Wilson & City Councilors, please fund safety measures for children, elders, and people with disabilities, who live and work within two miles of the the CEI Hub. We are especially concerned for the children at ABC University Preschool inside the CEI Hub.

⚠️ PSA: Pro tip to ALL the random/strange men out there, when witnessing ANY woman minding their own business:

1. πŸ‘πŸΎ DO πŸ‘πŸΎ NOT πŸ‘πŸΎ FOLLOW πŸ‘πŸΎ WOMEN πŸ‘πŸΎ WITHOUT πŸ‘πŸΎ THEIR πŸ‘πŸΎ CONSENT!

2. πŸ‘πŸΎ DO πŸ‘πŸΎ NOT πŸ‘πŸΎ FILM πŸ‘πŸΎ WOMEN πŸ‘πŸΎ WITHOUT πŸ‘πŸΎ THEIR πŸ‘πŸΎ CONSENT!

That goes DOUBLE for men who feel entitled to force an interaction.

Some commissioners said that we need to expand storage so more flights can come in and out of the Portland airport. We disagree & believe in safety first. It is not fair to tell the people of Portland that their safety comes second and the interests of big fuel and big airlines come first. 🧡 2of 2

We are disappointed that many Portland Planning Commissioners suggested that we should expand fuel storage at the CEI Hub. Yes, you read that correctly. Why?. 🧡 1 of 2

You've been waiting your whole life to learn a little about "renewable" naptha in the CEI Hub, right? All hazardous materials like "renewable" naptha should be regulated. Renewable fuels can explode, cause fires, and spill into the Willamette River. Yes to facts! No to greenwashing!

The drawdown should align with the Oregon Department of Energy’s OREGON ENERGY STRATEGY’s goal of a 70% reduction in liquid and gaseous fuels by 2050. We can do this becaue Portland should be a global leader in climate policy and vision. 🧡 4/4

26.02.2026 05:26 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Dear Planning Commissioners, The vast majority of public testimony has called for a drawdown this year of 20-30% (which BPS’ own data shows is totally feasible without affecting fuel supplies) and a phased monitored drawdown every 5 years thereafter in line with decreasing state demands. 🧡 3/4

26.02.2026 05:26 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

The only way to increase CEI Hub safety is to begin a process of reducing all hazardous flammable materials on liquefiable soils because even increased design standards, connecting infrastructure, and containment are likely to fail, especially for tanks closest to the river. AKA DRAWDOWN NOW! 🧡 2/4

If you want to get into the weeds with us about increasing safety at the CEI Hub, then this is the thread for you. Some vocal Portland Planning Commissioners have been focused on geotechnical solutions while it is clear from experts that while these are necessary, they are not enough. 🧡 1/4
