I'm alright at dark souls 1 now (not great but alright) but I'll have the people know I've only learned to parry everything once I've seen a video of someone doing it. I had to be shown what animation and frames are what and then I'm golden

especially when it's something I'm by default quite bad (management games + adhd bad attention span + general forgetfulness) and YET I learn to be better at it from observation. isn't it cool

I don't really understand game difficulty discussions but I personally think it's very fun and cool to learn advanced game mechanics or just general good practices by watching other people. I've gotten passably decent at frostpunk by watching people play it like I could feel myself get better. neat

unfortunately i don't have any funny hospital stories barring the time they did my elbow surgery and wheeled me out with me still loopy as fuck from the anaesthesia and apparently i said to the nurse "ok can i draw now" to which she said "i think you should sleep first"

i don't remember being in hospital for the burn things but i was young and tbh there's like months i don't remember there so i like to joke they were just like eh it's fine put some sour cream on it at home (WHICH apparently people have to be told not to do with burns??)

it's kind of ironic that i had to spend more time in hospital for having my elbow surgery than the top surgery. i mean from my silly layman's perspective it's just an elbow cut the bits out bandage it and lemme go home

i've never been in an ICU or a specialized ward or needed a lot of equipment to be fair i ASSUME those don't have big rooms? no idea.

person in this video is talking about not having a room to themselves in the hospital and i'm like 😶 i've never been in a hospital room with less than 4 beds (no complaints no shade i just never thought of it)
