commdes gave me an interview (yay!) but still haven't heard a peep from painting and printmaking and I'm GNAWING at the WALLS

I had very heavy stretch marks in the whole area and the nurse TOLD ME the wrinkling/texture would even out over time but did I believe her? no (she was right). I'd rate my personal recovery 6/10 (not problem free but no serious issues either). if anyone has reasonable Qs I'm happy to answer!

I'm normally not too keen on posting my physique™ but here, a 3 year update on top surgery (label so yous don't get blasted with it unprompted)

I'm gonna be like £200 short this month, it's a struggle cause recent depressive episode + arthritis worsening pretty much puts a stop to me being able to take more work in either day job or art. I'm starting to do better so who knows if I finish my other work I might be able to take some comms

obviously I know why people do these things it's just ironic to never have seen one explanation on their side with maybe a sniff of statistics or reasoning as to what exactly this will prevent and in what numbers. what results these goals will bring that justify the money and the time

I mean beyond even arguing who's biologically what (< ridiculous, no such thing, doesn't matter) it's pretty telling that the press just uncritically accepts the idea of corralling women's spaces as some sort of plausible means to harm reduction
