Now that's good food. The Ikoku Nikki premiere had me gripped from the start, but it did take a bit for it to completely click. I don't know how it compares to the manga, but the way the script is arranged achronologically and the way it transitions between scenes is so clever.

God I love this show so much. Building on its themes even more, My Dress Up Darling shows how being an adult doesn't mean that you need to give up on your hobbies, even if they appear "childish" to others. There's nothing wrong with putting your all into something you enjoy.

However, I can't deny that the final few minutes of the finale did bring a tear to my eye as the main character recalled all of the moments with her friends and how she is in a better place now. Really beautiful finale that made my complicated feelings regarding the show not matter as much.

Mono was a very interesting show. The production value blew me away, especially since this is from a brand new studio. That being said, it really struggled to keep me engaged in the second half as I realized that they weren't going to focus much at all on photography.
