Community Action in Margate - Salman's Story - Refugees at Home Refugees at Home is a UK charity which connects those with a spare room in their home to refugees and asylum seekers in need of somewhere to stay.

From avoiding the Bibby Stockholm to cooking for Tracey Emin, Salman's stay with one of our hosts in Margate gave him the time needed to start rebuilding his life.

Man crowned winner of Halstead marathon after setting new course record A man from Colchester has been crowned the winner of this year's Halstead marathon, after setting a new and impressive course record.

Mohammed Elbayan from Chad just won the Halstead Marathon with a record time. He learned English through sport and became a champion.
