Most of our US politicians are beholden to their donors. Their donors don’t want universal healthcare.

I blame politicians from both the Democratic and Republican sides.

Why did you choose an Advantage plan over traditional Medicare? I work with independent brokers who have advised to steer clear of those plans. The main reason is their propensity to deny care when you need it most. In addition, there are provider networks & pre authorization hoops to jump through.

“Easier” is subjective. Some runners love the distance and solitude. Others don’t. I sure don’t.

There were no pizza and burger stops in this instance. The altitude caused one of my family to drop. Another made it 60 + miles before the cold and darkness were too overwhelming to continue.

Yep. That’s why Republicans are lying to the media. If people knew the truth, they would be furious.

Wow! Good for you. That’s an accomplishment. I’ve only run a half marathon and a smattering of 5K’s.

My family members ran in an ultra this past Sat/Sun. (50 miles and 100 miles). They’re crazy though. 🤪

It really is staggering to see so many people willing to abandon our 249 year experiment in democracy for an increasingly unstable criminally convicted reality show charlatan.

Is that REALLY the case or does our media make us think so? Are bot accounts and AI hyping fascism?

Certainly, I think there are people in the Felon’s administration who support him. Congressional Republicans support him. MAGAts support him.

Other than those groups, he’s outnumbered.

They are complicit, as far as I am concerned and no longer will get my money. I encourage others to do the same.

I think all of the legacy media is “old people” media now. Many boomers still park themselves in front of their tvs at a certain time to watch the “news”. Unfortunately, it’s become propaganda with a side of commercials.

There are better ways to get reliable information.

I used to decry a single payer. I am a retired pharmacist who practiced for 40 years. In that time, I’ve seen the change- PBMs and insurers making billions, while healthcare and health outcomes deteriorate. Inform yourself, you’re being cheated.
