The horned head of Thaea peaks over the fighter’s shoulder, leaning in close.

He turns to the spirit and brushes her off his shoulder.

The devil’s warnings were valid. The land outside Dundorma had proven untrustworthy before.

Gid kept his hand calmly on the hilt of his blade, not out of paranoia or fear, but out of habit.

"Allyster if I was placin' my trust in you, I wouldn't keep my sword on me."

"I ain't trust anyone fully since my last party."

Gideon claps his hands together.

“Allyster, my close confidant.”

He lets out a sigh.

“I come from a place where we speak to an Archdevil of the Nine Hells or his emissaries twice a year for updates on the Blood War.”

“Even if you had a corrupt and evil heart, I’m still gonna be by your side.”

Maybe I'm not perfect. Maybe I have a long way to go. But someday...someday I'll be able to stand and walk on my own. Without hurting anyone...and without being a burden.

The fighter doesn't even let out a word before scooping up the angel in a hug.

Gid originally was just watching xem run with intrigue. Only reason he even found the druid in the first place was because of the large amount of fungi.

"Something on your mind? Or did someone give ya too many coffee beans or something?"

Felt kinda nice being out on ice again. It’s been far too long since he’s skated.

“Even if ya can’t do this for long, might as well do it while ya can.”

“Ally can we not risk breaking the ice?”

Gid starts to calmly slide after him. Sure he didn’t have the blades nor ice shoes oh his home, but anyone from his home town can walk on ice.

“The last thing I need to pull you out of freezing water.”

"I... you've had popping rocks?"

He clears his throat and shakes his head.

"Regardless maybe its because you're a lot more different internally or whatever that lets you do this. Whatever the reason... can ya at least stay to one spot on the lake?"

The whole lakeside looks like green Swiss cheese

"Petals... now I ain't one to deny chomping down on some ice cubes."

"BUT you probably shouldn't just be eating raw lake ice..."
