I've had three rescue Shih Tzus. My final one (I'm not gonna die and leave one alone!) is now 19 1/2 and still spunky and sweet and adorable. I've loved every critter I've adopted but there is something special about this breed. May Kobe get ALL the love he wants.

Downtown Port Townsend has a very very old fence around a playing field, Memorial Field. Currently local artists are painting it, section by section. Sure does add a LOT to our little town. THANKS artists!

Oh my, I miss her already. I'm moving, but for about a year most of my things will be in storage. I held her books today and put them into the "Stay with me stack" because no way are those going into storage. Her light stays in the world.
