I wish I could give myself permission to just create and not be concerned about it being 'good enough'. Then I'd finish art, actually try to take on commissions, stream for no one... Probably even have fun. It's exhausting not feeling I'm worth anyone's time and being trapped in my head with myself

Did you now this is why pirates wore eye patches? So they could quickly change eyes by flipping the patch when going below deck without having to wait for their vision to adjust?

I understand the need to pivot to thrive, but I hate hate HATE how most art youtubers are now also lifestyle youtubers (often more lifestyle content than art). I do. Not. CARE. what you had for lunch, I wanna see you make art. I hate that the platform basically demands this for relevance.

The Internet is a terrible place for starting artists. The complete lack of reach and feedback makes it difficult to stay motivated. Having to convince yourself you're improving without external feedback is exhausting in itself
