You say that like we literally didn't just have a national candidate chosen by the party that not a single voter in this country voted for to be the candidate.

2 of those are in this century, both of which, the ACA and infrastructure bill, were heavily conservative if not outright heritage plan (ACA). Every time I see one of these lists, I wonder how the person making it doesn't notice most of it is from 50 or more years ago and realize the problem

This wasnt a trade to win games, it was get out of the Kuminga contract taking back an expiring KP deal. Its a stealth tank, they want to be in the lottery they just won't say it out loud.

Between this trade and the curry mystery knee timeline, you'll never convince me they aren't stealth tanking to get in the lottery. There is no chance they actually think KP is anything more than an expiring who might play 5 or 6 games

Wild how they turned an impressive accomplishment into an abject embarrassment in a matter of hours.

I'd argue moving off Hurts is that option, not Brown.

The drug trade's likely been funding off the books shit for decades if not longer. The British weren't the only country flooding China with Opium way back in mid 1800s. We had military units guarding the operation of the poppy fields in Afghanistan under 4 different administrations across 2 decades

23.02.2026 05:56 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

I'm sure they're not getting W2's or anything. But I would be legitimately shocked if the U.S. govt wasn't heavily involved in international drug trafficking. We know for a fact they absolutely trafficked and sold drugs to Americans in the U.S. on a scale large enough to fund the Iran/Contra shit.

I wouldn't be so sure about that.

The Knicks are a good bet for ECF. I'm not buying Boston, they can win regular season games on experience and scheme but I think they get exposed in a playoff series. Cleveland with Harden, I mean we've seen that movie before. They've gotta stay in 2-3 slot tho, I don't think they can beat Detroit

Great win. I love the Alvarado pick up. Watching the 4th quarter, I was wondering where tf was Houston on that? He's exactly the kind of guy they need. Thompson/Sheppard as their point guards is a recipe for going home in the 1st round. The Lakers are the only realistic 1st round match they can win

22.02.2026 05:17 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

I give it to the Knicks for closing with Alvarado and Shamet over Bridges and Hart. Houston could never do that with KD even when he's not drfending or rebounding and killing any offense they have jacking nothing but tough shots over multiple defenders. They desperately need a real point guard

22.02.2026 04:51 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

I mean, it was. The Knicks played great in the 4th but Houston fell apart. Durant is such a black hole, every time he tries to take over, it destroys any offensive movement and rhythm because the other guys all know that ball isn't moving and KD is just gonna jack some dumb spinning fade away

22.02.2026 04:51 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Durant is such a toxic force, nothing but brutal tough shots, he's a black hole, turns it over too much. Without a real point guard, he just destroys your offensive rhythm at the end of games when he tries to take over. And he's a sour force on your locker room.

I'd add Hurts last year in Philly, not only made the line look worse as a passer but telegrahing run plays, and audibiling into draws against pressure looks got Barkley crushed repeatedly

21.02.2026 23:57 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 3    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

True but some lines look worse than they are because of the QB, Cincinnati for example, wasn't good but looked far worse with Burrow than Flacco. Caleb's rookie year with the Bears, Drake Maye didn't do New England any favors, Tua in Miami, etc.

Right? Dude's a kennedy, he can't get one of those little containers with a spoon in it?

21.02.2026 19:06 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Demonizing 3rd party voters is just the excuse dems use to escape accountability for blowing winnable elections and continuing to use decades old strategies that rake in tons of corp money but only two examples of electoral success across 30+ years was because they benefitted from 3rd party voters

21.02.2026 07:12 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

There's no actual mathematical case either Hillary or Harris lost because of 3rd parties, and that's even with the false presumption every Stein voter would've voted for the Dem. Even Gore didn't lose because of Nader, he lost because scotus and Jeb Bush stole the FL electoral votes

21.02.2026 06:58 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

How so? Both of Bill Clinton's wins were because Ross Perot decimated the gop candidate, especially in 92 when Perot took 18% with Clinton "winning" despite doing considerably worse thsn Dukakis did in 88. Trump lost millions more votes to 3rd party candidates than Hillary did in 2016.

Explain the other 40+ presidents who did the exact shit he's decribing then

20.02.2026 23:02 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 2    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

You might be missing the point. Trump isn't the first to do this, just the latest in a long, long line of presidents to do so

20.02.2026 23:01 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 4    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

That would violate his probation right?

19.02.2026 13:52 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Hurts is the one who needs that convo. Brown wouldn't be a problem if he wasn't. The best decision for Brown would be get out now. A season with a theoretically dual threat QB who's a very limited passer and doesn't want to run anymore behind what'll likely be a much worse o-line will be a disaster

That'd be a Bengals move, lose a first+ to trade for a dude when they could've just not alienated and paid the elite dude they already had.

Exactly and he beat the brakes off McCain, Dems won damn near super majorities in both houses. Then he showed up and governed like an 80s republican and ever since, they've run stock tack right, including in 12, lost both houses for long stretches and outright lost twice and nearly 3 times to Trump

18.02.2026 04:12 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 2    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Take obama. The aspiration of the campaign quickly morphing to reganite-style governance did incalculable harm. Mishandling the housing crash, making perps whole, enabling huge wealth transfers up and consolidations across near-all industries was crucial for the circumstances allowing a trump to be

That's the lie people who don't really want change want you to believe. Imcrementalism isn't a strategy for change, it's controlled opposition to diffuse the urgency pushing for change. Dems have spent the past 40 years "now's not the time"-ing us into wide spread anger, apathy and emergent fascism
