β€œDying to sit things out” - the narrative that it’s the people, not the party responsible for poor turnout and support.

What this really says is liberals are already blaming the left for losing the next election when they run another center-right candidate who fails to inspire people.

The political ads in Texas are wild.

β€œHe will fight Sharia law” - and I can only believe the people here eat that shit up.

Pretty sure I’m real and I’m fairly sure claiming to ever support someone like Reagan makes your account far more rw.

β€œVote for whoever you want” but you just blamed voters for not voting for Harris when she is a center-right candidate.

The Dems ran a bad candidate and you blame others for her not winning, while at the same time proclaiming you’d vote for Reagan…

So who’s on the β€œright” here??

So it’s on the voters to vote for who they are told and not on the party to run someone people want to vote for?

If we have any hope of changing the direction this country is headed, the whole thing has to come down. Voting won't save us, and the Democrats and liberals for damn sure won't save us.

At the end of the day, each Democrat president pushes the country further to the right because they work so hard to appeal to the far-right. GHWB gave us Clinton, Clinton gave us GWB, GWB gave us Obama, and we know how the rest goes.

You'll never enact change if your only campaign strategy is to be just not quite as bad as the other guy. To his credit, Bernie tried this, but 1, never fully embraced being on the left ("I am a capitalist"), but also, you can't be a "revolutionary" inside of an anti-revolutionary party.

Democrats always look to move right to capture votes, and push out candidates who even sound a tad left. Bill Clinton ran on a tough on crime, pro-death penalty ticket, Obama tried to appeal to centrists and shy away from accusations of being on the left (he ended up being a center-right president).

This kind of thinking/voting is why we're stuck in this moment.

Liberals can only think as far as voting against something, never voting for something.

Reagan ignored/spurred the AIDS crisis, accelerated the racist "war on drugs", and created one of the worst economic systems known to man.

The American liberal mind is so conditioned to fear communism over fascism that literally with the rise of fascism they use fictional tales from the red scare to explain what’s happening today.

Fascism rises because liberals spend their time fighting a left-wing apparition.

For who don't want hockey players or others being "political" - politics have a direct impact on the hockey community.

If "hockey is for everyone" then we need to vocally oppose ICE and what our government is doing to our communities and the impact it's having on our sport.

Abolish ICE.

Many many years ago I wrote a piece for Truthout about how immoral Libertarianism is.

Nothing holds more true now as they remain silent as the government overreaches and expands into every facet of our lives and murders people on the streets at will.

Watching the Dems try and be anti-war but also anti-left is incredible.

They’re just as happy as the right that Maduro is out, but will be saying β€œit should have been a covert operation!”

I don’t see the appeal of β€œbring it to congress” when it comes to Venezuela.

Suddenly attacking them and kidnapping Maduro is okay if the fascists in congress agree with it?

Hands off Venezuela, full stop.
