I sometimes think that in practice the only difference is that in hard SF the laws of physics are explicitly thrown out the window, while in softer SF they gets drunk and fall out of the window by themselves.

This seems like an obvious time for a reporter to ask a clarifying question. "So the Democrats in Congress care about people starving more than you do?" "Why is this pressure only on the Democrats? Aren't there hungry people in your district, too?"

That was true in his first term. This time around he seems much more disoriented.

Again, that is NOT to minimize his threat. "Oh, don't worry, he's just a madman with access to nuclear weapons and with the world's most powerful military obeying his orders" is NOT a reassuring statement.

It's one thing to refuse to work, it's quite another to refuse to work for no money. Air traffic controllers are getting really close to that second one. Planes won't "fall out of the sky;" they'll never get off the ground in the first place.

In order:

(1) Trump is demented. That doesn't make anything better.
(2) He VERY, VERY MUCH wants to annex Canada.
(3) He's already putting people in concentration camps.
(4) He's murdering whoever in the boats
(5) He's grifting and getting richer by the minute. That's the core of his personality.
