I'm happy with the foreshortening on her hand. The pose was really tricky for a 23 yr old, since there wasn't a way to google "action pose, running away from us and turning to throw a bolo" but I liked the challenge.

There's only 8 days left! It was fun to design the costume for this one. I tried to give it more edge, like adding spikes and chains, rather than have a typical all #Latex costume. I hope it worked.

This was done for Jayco. They were the 1st to ask me to draw sexy covers, and the 1st to let me do Topless covers, at the time, only color swaps were a thing. But I asked if I could draw other versions.

This is my fave cover of #SarahPezini that I've done. It mixed foreshortening, action and sexiness. Not an easy combo and takes me forever. I liked the perspective of her arms, with the right arm fading behind her. #eBas #EricBasaldua #art

My approach was to lightly (3H,2H lead) sketch in the mask, and then used a paint brush to add a light layer of Toner Gray Copic 0 ink from bottom left to upper right. If u look closely, u can see the strokes.

I miss the old days where I didn't have to worry about topless and nude versions, and I could focus on action and storytelling. It's my own fault really for pushing for more risqué variants and re-drawing patches and such. But I did it to give you guys more bang for your buck. #lilmermaid #eBas
