Thank you! I was at demo which was heartening, if also terribly serious. Anti-uranium signs on railings, and a lot of emphasis on all of us being Treaty people who can work together "shoulder to shoulder" to combat the gov. The treaties provide legal basis for obligation to protect land etc....

Good turnout at today's demo outside the Leg. "We are all treaty people." There is, apparently, wording in the treaties which give us all legal opportunity to protect land, water, wildlife, heritage. Sorry I don't know more but if anyone can enlighten me please do 🔆

This is just me thinking, not (yet) applicable personally. But might this mean that a person on a fixed income gets priced out of their own home? I know there are supposed to be caps but our assessment has gone up a couple of times since we moved 7 years ago. Not dire yet. We are seniors.

I wasn't asking specifically. I do know our assessment went up but it's an older condo so not (yet) as vulnerable as single family homes in settled neighbourhoods.

Year round daylight time is mistake. For health reasons we need early daylight not late day. The further north we go the sillier it gets because we have plenty of sun in summer and not enough in winter, time changes or no.
Most latitudes, just go back to old dates for change, closer to equinox.
