Our work using single cell proteomic to define neutrophil functional states in human glioblastoma is out in @natcomms.nature.com

Thanks to all authors, collaborators, editors and reviewers. It id exciting to see the potential SCP has to map neutrophil biology.

New study (Walmsley lab) has for the first time, found the set of proteins neutrophils express within a tumour at high detail. This tech has opened the door to understanding neutrophil roles in brain tumours such as glioblastoma but also more generally in health and disease states.

Hypoxia-induced epigenetic reprogramming of neutrophil progenitors - Nature Reviews Immunology Sanchez-Garcia et al. report that systemic hypoxia-induced epigenetic reprogramming of neutrophil progenitors in the bone marrow reduces their effector function to limit lung tissue damage.

In summary, we do single cell proteomics of glioblastoma neutrophils and find exciting functional states invisible to scRNAseq which further define the roles that neutrophils play within glioblastomas, showing some pro-tumorigenic and anti-tumorigenic populations and properties
