I am a big fan of the Gloomhaven series, but I think one flaw in them is the ability to get absolutely screwed over by multiple card loss in a single turn - especially early on in a scenario. It can really kill the fun for that player.

I think that, barring shifts due to gerrymandering and generally supression, if dems win in 26 it will be due to negative polarization rather than anyone seeing Dems as an actual enemy/alternative to republicans. Maybe that’s not fair on the policy merits but that’s not the game being played.
