Today, we join the country in observing Veterans Day and paying tribute to those who have served. Many of our nation’s veterans continue to serve our country as federal employees, and we are proud to count them as members of the NTEU family.

As SNAP benefits are cut, this should be something we demand of state governors to do with their states national guard.

Food banks & other forms of community aid will feel the stress caused by these cuts. There will undoubtedly be understaffing and shortages, this is one way we can prepare for this
