any proper mod that lets you do this will not let you long rest or travel between regions (e.g. to the mountain pass) without trimming your party down to 4, because that can break your game. any other gameplay mechanic works fine, ESPECIALLY dialogue

Yeah, turns out website wallpapers are pretty easy to make. Save the html and files (ctrl+s), put them in a folder together, open wallpaper engine’s built-in editor, import the html file and it will pull the loose files in with it. Save project and/or upload to steam.
