If it doesn't come with a wind-tunnel tweaking, I have no use for it...😀

I'm still safe ... but Maria Carey already got me 😞

I think Alexander Salby deserves an honourable mention - he might only have won at lower levels, but 9 wins in a season is still pretty good!

Dainese to Quickstep who sends Lamperti to EF.

Teams closing down is something pretty unique to cycling, I think, and a lot of very good riders cannot even compete at the level they should be next year. Sometimes I hate the business model that they call proffesional cycling...

Last day of the season and with Ceratizit closing their team, I had a look at their riders. Some has secured nice contracts, but most are still out of a job as far as we know. How can we have a pro sport and no-one has a spot for Sandra Alonso? Or Mylène de Zoete? Or... you get the point.

At least it's accurate ... until next season.

But: Entertainment value of the last hour of this race was absolutely exceptional!

Feel for Meurisse too - he was at the very last stretch of the gravel when he punctured. I dislike gravel of any quality in road races. I wouldn't go on that path if I was on my road bike. I would love to ride it on my gravel bike - but it's just a different discipline if you ask me.

Oh, with the GC, he's at 2 wins. So lets call him ... Paul Double?

The Danes are out? The Johannesens are out? Never mind, here come Sakarias...!!!

When your first pro win is the last .pro-race of the last season of the 3-year cycle where you really need the points, you have timed your form to perfection. Congratulations, Sakarias, and congratulations Uno-X πŸ‡³πŸ‡΄πŸ‡³πŸ‡΄πŸ‡³πŸ‡΄

As long as it's his only WT-victory, I'd go for "Paul Single"...

A well-deserved pro contract for one of the strongest women in the peloton! πŸ’ͺ🀩

What a journey it has been for Sigrid! We’re so excited about this next step for her, and can’t wait to follow and cheer her on in the future! πŸŽ‰πŸ€

Pogačar's #iLombardia win was UAE's 87th victory this year (not counting championships) from 284 race days (with 10 race days still to come).
But that pales in comparison to SD Worx' 2023 season: 53 victories from 73 race days!

Just one more Paris-Tours. Would be cool if he could retire on a third victory there 🀩

25 victories this year. 19 at WT level. Plus a couple of points jerseys. And I wouldn't be surprised if she does even better next year...

Honestly, looking at the riders in this group 2, it will be almost absurd if they cannot catch a solo rider, even if that rider is called Tadej Pogacar...

One of the most dedicated helpers in the peloton. Ironically he is usually there for Remco 😜

If he DNF's today that will be 3 seasons in a row without finishing a single one-day race 🀯
