The three wood panels continue to evolve, now with all the creatures of right hand panel blocked in - there's a bipedal purple creature with a huge drum, a strange yellow blob with 4 legs and two arms trumpeting at the front, and several more colorful small ones throughout. The middle panel has a large beaked biped holding a pennant. There is a giant lime green form appe appearing in the background, and manykrs beginning to take form. The left-most panel remains sketched out with just sky painted in, and the scene begins to coalesce onto a fantastical parade emerging from the dark woods.

Tbh I think this is the first time since we both got COVID in 2021 that they get sick and I catch it. Usually our immune systems are pretty opposite and we just get sick one at a time

It feels like something glowing and new, comforting and nostalgic all at once. It feels like high school at 2 AM online, and it feels like being 30 watching netflix together via zoom and it being the Sense8 and being so so so gay, and it feels like now- a little tender, a little depressed 4/5

it feels like those soft, scary, boundless times in my first solo apt in 2020; after the end of a 7 year relationship, stuck in lockdown, so uncertain and lost, but then slowly striking up something special via texts and twitter and DnD with a hot nerd across the country 3/5

I had no idea how soothing this would be for my millennial internet-raised soul. I've almost entirely switched to laptop for work and TV for media thanks to chromecast and it feels so right to be sitting in bed in soft lighting just meandering through. Add in the fact that I just texted A? 2/5

Three things I just learned in rapid succession
1) giant anteater skulls are like long tubes, not cartilage
2) their tongues are mostly attached to their sternum, not their hyroid like most animals
3) their lower jaws split with a ligament that allows them to rotate outwards, not down

Tonight my MIL and I are at the town meeting in Medford, because my wife is the deputy clerk and my best friend is the town clerk, and we wanted to see how it works.

There are 200 people in this town. There's around ten people at the meeting. Everyone knows each other, I love small towns

It's not just the worry and stress about the world - that's just Life right now. It's specifically the internal hyperactivity and overwhelm from having a discordant orchestra of thoughts, and loops of sound and potential conversations playing over and over like a dvd menu waiting for me to act

My brain is scrambling for purchase on a mountain of ideas and directions and projects and half-formed thoughts about how to cultivate community locally via art - and when it reaches a desperate peak of needing to do *something*, it falls apart and my body feels it and I suddenly can't stop crying.

And currently, a lot of my thoughts revolve around community building, wanting to get involved, wanting to build resilience in my circles so I can feel safe, wanting to be an artist whose art is activism, fiber arts and how they tie communities together, etc etc.

I've been struggling a lot with panic attacks, and a lot of it is from workplace trauma and general shit I'm dealing with but lately I've noticed one of my triggers is overwhelm from constantly looking for a way to Help. Having ADHD means I live with a constant multi-layered stream of thoughts -

I hate that. I've found it actually but to be kind of fun to try and describe my art in alt text, and I can't imagine purposely just....not? After I've opened the field to do it.

This palette! The character design! The sense of cohesion and the way you can feel how *deliberate and lively* the style is. I absolutely love this.
